The Scott Baioli at Dog Haus in Pasadena, CA.

The “Scott Baioli” hot dog is a very popular menu item at Dog Haus for good reason — it’s incredibly delicious. And considering Dog Haus’s limited menu and wild popularity at 24 locations across six states, one could argue the hot dog may just be more popular than the washed-up actor turned political advocate.

Let’s compare the two:

The “Scott Baioli”

A delicious hot dog topped with smoked bacon, white american cheese, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions nestled in a bun made of grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.

Scott Baio

A cheesy, but otherwise tasteless wiener that, despite common sense, supported Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

According to Scott Baio’s Wikipedia page, he described President Barack Obama as “either dumb, a Muslim, or a Muslim sympathizer, and I don’t think he’s dumb”.

Time for a name change?

While visiting the Dog Haus in Pasadena, Ca., I held my nose and ordered a Scott Baioli under the recommendation of a trusted source. It was delicious—too delicious to be saddled with the burden of bearing Scott Baio’s name. It was creamy, rich, and savory with a nice sweetness from the King’s Hawaiian rolls. It was just so damn good!
